There is no equation or set piece of advice that you can use to determine when it is a good time to finally meet up with the person you met on plenty fish. It really depends on how interested you are in the person and if they intrigue you enough to go out on a limb to met with them. It has to feel right. If you are not interested or really do not enjoy talking to someone, then it is obviously not meant to be. If you two have been exchanging messages frequently and you find yourself eagerly watching your inbox for a response from this person, then it is probably time to take things to the next level and meet up for dinner or coffee. The first date does not have to be anything extravagant. The date is more about meeting up face to face to see if your chemistry is just as strong offline as it is online.
