Elderly Man Hit & Killed by Car

An elderly man died at the scene of an accident on the north side of Cambria on Thursday night. He was hit by a 1996 Plymouth Neon, that was headed north at about 60 mph on Highway 1 near Moonstone Beach Drive. The victim was wearing dark clothing, standing next to his bicycle along the highway, when he was hit and killed by the car. The California Highway Patrol will be conducting a thorough investigation.

The driver of the car was not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol, at the time of the accident. The 46 year old man, works for the post office in Cambria.

The victim was an electrical contractor in Cambria for years and was described as a very hard working man. He would frequently donate his time and skills to help around in his community. He is survived by his three children and three grandchildren.

Our condolences go out to the victim’s family.

Sudden Snow Storm Hits the UK

Cctv cameras caught a superb time lapse of when Cambridge was hit by a sudden snow storm where 10 inches fell in a matter of hours. Everybody was caught off guard as there was no real talk of actually how much snow that was going to fall. The snow started falling across most parts of the UK at around 7 at night. By 9 o’clock the whole of Cambridge was covered like a winter wonderland. Main roads were shut off, flights were cancelled and as usual the UK was in disaster mode. The snow is set to stay with us over the next couple of days due to the temperatures being below minus for the rest of the week. As always there have unfortunately been a few casualties and minor injuries. Everyone was just shocked at how quickly the snow came and within a small matter of time lives were turn upside down.

When you start playing in World of Warcraft, leveling should always be the first thing you need to consider. There are many methods for leveling and I strongly recommend you to choose questing as your main method because completing quests can be simple and interesting. Dover Dining Table Voluntarily Recalled over a Fall Hazard

In accordance with the news and an official statement released by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, on December 29th 2011, West Elm, a division of Williams-Sonoma, announced a voluntary recall of their Dover Dining Table.

The recall includes approximately 830 units in the United States and 10 in Canada.

According to the official statements, the wooden base of the table can collapse causing the glass top to fall, creating a potential risk for consumers. Due to that issue, the product had to be recalled immediately.

So far, the firm has received 14 reports of tables collapsing. Consumers who have purchased this recalled table should contact West Elm for a full store credit.
